Falcon soars the Warriors away

The Lady Falcons started off the volleyball series of UAAP Season 85 with a crushing and a humiliating response to the UE Lady Warriors held at the Mall of Asia Arena and dominated the game by 25-19, 25-9, 25-5 on February 25, Saturday.

Lucille Almonte showed off a pure skill of what a falcon can do by setting the statistics of 12 points, 10 attacks, and 2 blocks. And Trisha Tubu put on 11 markers.

Adamson crushed the Warriors to the ground from 12-0 to Dara Nieva encountered an error in play that gave an advantage to Adamson to increase the score by 17-3.

Adamson only needed 63 minutes of Warriors’ time with no headstarts, head coach Jerry Yee said they had a great game against their opponent and would most likely sustain that energy to win a lot more games.

But on the other side of the men’s volleyball team, UE beat out Adamson by 25-18, 25-22, 25-14 held on the same day on a Saturday, February 25, 2023 on the Mall of Asia Arena.
