It turned out to be a success.

In turn, engineering students really enjoyed the experience and were able to have a little bit of a break from all the academic stress they’d been dealing with for the past weeks. The said event has a lot of activities: the “Mr. and Ms. Engineering”, “Engineering Got Talent,” and the “Team Building Competition.”

A lot of participants joined the Team Building Challenge before the main event which was the “Mr. and Ms. Engineering and Engineering Got Talent" portion afterward.

The Team building competition champions are the Electronics engineering students as they finished all the obstacles in the fastest time as a team.

Engineering students unleashed their prime talents during the “Engineering Got Talent” competition. As for the champion, “Hala! Uno”, from the Mechanical Engineering Department, successfully took home the trophy after their amazing performance. The 1st and 2nd runners-up are Arlance Rhaniell Maceda from Petroleum Engineering Department and Althea Wayne Tacas from Chemical Engineering Department.

As for the main event, the crowd went wild as they root for their favorite candidates during the competition of “Mr. and Ms. Engineering.”

The candidates battled as they showcase their beauty and brains in a series of portions but only one takes home the crown.

A tense and close battle went on but despite this, Albert Logan from Geology and Mining Engineering Department and Jacylle Jean Vilar from Civil Engineering Department mesmerized the judges and the audiences, which successfully took home the crown and the title of “Mr. and Ms. Engineering 2023.

As the event ends, the smile and joy that it brought to the students will surely be remembered and cherished, especially by those who put in their dedication and hard work.
