Adamson University's students share their experiences online about the discrimination they are receiving due to the university's involvement in a fraternity.

In one of the Facebook posts, CJ Orozco Villa, a Civil Engineering student from Adamson, shares his experience while he is commuting on his way home to Laguna. He said that most of the passengers gazed at him as if they were judging him when they knew that he was from Adamson. He felt hurt for the Adamson community to experience this kind of discrimination.

Villa added that a passenger from Light Rail Transit (LRT) asked him if he was from Adamson University after seeing the ID lace that he was wearing, which he confirmed. Then he got a response saying, "Napakababoy ng ginawa n'yo! mga estudyanteng mamamatay tao! (What an awful thing you did! Student killers!)"

"I'm sharing this experience to warn everybody to be strong physically, emotionally, and mentally." reason for sharing the experience.

Adamson University mourns the death of the 3rd-year chemical engineering student, John Matthew Torres Salilig, who was found dead due to fraternity initiation rites.

To ease the mood and the eyes of the public on the situation, the university let the students wear decent civilian clothing for onsite classes that last until the first week of April.
