Running out of clothes to wear

After the news of the death of John Matthew Salilig, the Office of Student Affairs advised students to wear decent civilian clothing from March 20 to March 30, 2022, because of the discrimination of other schools and people from outside of the university.

Most students opted to wear civilian clothing to show off their personalized fashion and have begun for days having to wear civilian clothing. Others wear clothing that matches and some even wore their PE Uniforms only to wear different T-shirts because of having run out of clothing to wear.

Weeks have passed since but the university still continued to advise students to wear civilian clothing, and by then most of the Adamson University students have really run out of clothing to wear.

Most of the students are living in their dormitories, wherein they didn’t have that much because they live far away from their homes.

The harassment has gone down since, and most of the students have started to wear their University IDs proudly again without anyone harassing them outside the school.

Lack of information and a naive perception of the people outside of the university is the primary reason why people are having a hard time understanding the real situation of the incident that had happened.
